Chiropractic Treament: Manual adjustment of the vertebrae of the spine and other joints. Adjustment helps relieve pain and restore normal functioning to the spine, joints and supporting structures of the body. The adjustment has been proven in research to enhance sports performance.
Custom Made Orthotics: Improper mechanics of the ankle and joints of the foot can lead to hyperpronation of the foot and flat feet. Custom made orthotics help re-align the joints of the ankle and foot and restores normal functioning of the foot and its musculature.
VAXD Spinal Decompression Therapy: Technologically advanced spinal decompression treatment for bulging/herniated or degenerative discs of the neck or lower back. Evidenced-based research with high success rates.
Laser Therapy: This technology uses superluminous diodes and laser diodes to treat diseased or traumatized tissue with photons. These particles of energy are selectively absorbed by the cell membrane and molecules within the cell leading to the restoration of normal cell structure and function. This treatment is highly effective in treating numerous musculoskeletal injuries, SPORTS INJURIES, arthritis, and in wound healing.
Active Release Technique:
A.R.T. is a patented, state of the art soft tissue system/movement based massage technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved quickly and permanently with ART. These conditions all have one important thing in common: they are often a result of overused muscles. Over-used muscles (and other soft tissues) change in three important ways:
acute conditions (pulls, tears, collisions, etc),
accumulation of small tears (micro-trauma)
not getting enough oxygen (hypoxia).
Each of these factors can cause your body to produce tough, dense scar tissue in the affected area. This scar tissue binds up and ties down tissues that need to move freely. As scar tissue builds up, muscles become shorter and weaker, tension on tendons causes tendonitis, and nerves can become trapped. This can cause reduced range of motion, loss of strength, and pain. If a nerve is trapped you may also feel tingling, numbness, and weakness.
Passive Stretching: Active stretching (stretching yourself) only stretches to relieve tight muscles. Passive stretching, not only stretches the tight muscles, but also stretches the tendons and ligaments beyond their normal range of motion and flushes out all of the toxins that build up as a result of injured tissue.
Electrotherapy: Electrotherapy uses electrical energy to promote healing, repair tissue and reduce pain. In chiropractic, this includes interferential current, TENS, and EMS.
